A note from the FS Inclusion Council:

Clients, Colleagues and Friends of the Community,

Since FS Investments was founded more than 10 years ago, we have focused on creating an environment where all of our colleagues can grow, contribute meaningfully and meet their fullest potential. In support of that mission, the FS Inclusion Council was formed to ensure FS Investments is a place that embraces diversity, values inclusivity and empowers all individuals to perform at their best.

Comprised of colleagues with varying levels of seniority from departments across the entire firm, our team strives to:

  • Continuously assess firm policies and procedures with an eye toward inclusivity
  • Facilitate training and educational opportunities on unconscious and implicit bias
  • Provide support to the firm’s Employee Resource Groups – the FS Women’s Network and the FS Veterans Network
  • Participate in and lead diversity and inclusion initiatives with industry groups and affinity organizations
  • Form partnerships with charitable organizations that support, connect, educate and empower members of our communities
  • Above all, foster an inclusive environment at FS Investments in which all of our colleagues are empowered to grow, contribute meaningfully and find fulfillment

Our Council and our firm value diversity and believe an inclusive environment is essential to human thriving and good business. We also recognize that our work is never finished. We pledge to continually challenge our assumptions, engage in challenging dialogue, and further ensure our firm is as diverse, welcoming and inclusive as it possibly can be.

    In partnership with the CFA Society Philadelphia, finance students from Bryn Mawr College visited FS headquarters to meet with the FS Women’s Network and learn more about careers in financial services. To learn more, click here.
  • CEO Action Visit
    On Thursday, November 1, FS Investments was joined by CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion at its Philadelphia headquarters. CEO Action represents the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace in the U.S. and is made up of more than 500 CEOs and university presidents across a diverse set of organizations and sectors. During their November visit, employees participated in CEO Action’s Check Your Blind Spots tour, a mobile exhibit aiming to increase awareness about implicit bias.
