Stephen Sloan serves as Global Head of Secondaries. Stephen joined Portfolio Advisors in 2020 and has been working in the private markets since 2000. Prior to joining Portfolio Advisors, he was the Global Head of Greenhill’s capital advisory group and a member of Greenhill’s management committee. Before that, Stephen co-founded Cogent Partners in 2002, serving as the Managing Partner until the firm’s sale to Greenhill in 2015. Prior to founding Cogent, he worked at Goldman Sachs in their New York office in the structured products and international finance groups. Stephen holds a B.S. from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University, and both an M.A. and M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
