Chief Market Strategist

Troy Gayeski serves as the Chief Market Strategist for FS Investments. He is responsible for research generation, positioning and conveying the FS Investments suite of alternative investments in today’s marketplace.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Gayeski has spearheaded “The Time for Alts is Now” and “Roll up the Capital Structure” campaigns. He also developed the “Galactic Mean Reversion” macro thesis for explaining the current challenging environment for equity and fixed income returns, as well as the continued strength of both nominal GDP and the labor market.

Mr. Gayeski works closely with the sales and distribution teams on financial advisor education on the power of “northwest quadrant of the efficient frontier strategies” and timely allocation enhancements.

He helps drive the branding and messaging for the firm, alongside the marketing, client service and PR teams, to better educate the marketplace on the mission to democratize alternatives.

Mr. Gayeski has spent over a decade as a contributor on major financial television programming including Bloomberg, Fox, Yahoo Finance and CNBC. He also presents at numerous financial conferences and wealth management events discussing the economic outlook, capital market conditions and the important of embracing the “right” alternatives in asset allocation. Additionally, he is one of the key architects of the SCALE Alternative Investment Conference.

Mr. Gayeski received his BS in Chemical Engineering from MIT. He lives with his family in Connecticut.
