Lara Rhame, FS Investments Chief U.S. Economist, was recognized by Money Management Executive as one of the publication’s 2018 Top Women in Asset Management. Lara was one of ten senior women in financial services selected for the award.
In an interview with Money Management Executive, Lara discussed her career as an economist, the importance of mentorship and the positive impact that greater female representation can have on the industry.
“I think it’s enormously important to get everybody in our society used to women who are experts,” Rhame said. “The more you see it, the more normal it becomes – I hope that, 10 years from now, there are just as many women up on stage as men.”
