Team IMPACT event

July 13, 2022

PHILADELPHIA – July 13, 2022 – In collaboration with Morgan Stanley, Macquarie Asset Management and FS Investments hosted a group of Philadelphia-based collegiate athletes for a day of networking, skill-developing and career mentorship. At the event, students heard from FS and Macquarie employees who were college athletes, participated in a Predictive Index session and learned best practices for using LinkedIn for relationship building, branding and job searching.

This program was conducted through Team IMPACT via FS Investments’ partnership with The Equity Collective. The Equity Collective, launched in 2021, is a diversity-driven collaboration of Morgan Stanley and 27 Wealth and Asset Management Firms, including FS Investments and Macquarie.

“At Team IMPACT, our mission is to guide pediatric patients and their college teams in a mutually beneficial relationship of belonging, empowerment and resilience,” Josh Walker said, upon reflection of the event. Walker is the Mid-Atlantic Executive Director of Team IMPACT. “The Equity Collective is a perfect example of our work to empower college student-athletes around the country. College athletes are our future leaders, and we are grateful to FS Investments, Macquarie and Morgan Stanley for helping us prepare them for what comes next.”
