Michael Forman is the Chairman & CEO of FS Investments and has been leading the company since founding it in 2007. Mr. Forman serves as Chairman and CEO of each of the firm’s funds and chairs most fund investment committees.
Prior to co-founding FS Investments, Mr. Forman founded a private equity and real estate investment firm. He started his career as a corporate and securities lawyer.
Mr. Forman is a member of a number of civic and charitable boards, including The Franklin Institute (Board of Trustees), Vetri Community Partnership (Chairman), Drexel University (Board of Trustees), The Barnes Foundation (Corporate Leadership Board member), the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Corporate Council member) and the Center City District Foundation (Board of Directors). He serves as the Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign for The Philadelphia School. He was a founding member and served on the Executive Committee of the Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT). He also served The University of the Arts as a Trustee and Executive Committee member of its Advancement and Investment Sub-Committee.
Mr. Forman received his BA from the University of Rhode Island where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He received his JD from Rutgers School of Law.
Mr. Forman is married and lives with his wife and three daughters in Philadelphia.
Philip M. Browne serves as Managing Director of Finance and Administration at FS Investments, where he is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the finance and accounting functions across all firm entities.
Mr. Browne brings more than 30 years of executive and director experience in all matters of finance and accounting operations. Before joining FS Investments, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Advanta Corporation, a public financial services company with over $10 billion in managed assets. In this role, he was responsible for managing the company’s finance, accounting, treasury, securitization and investor relations functions, and he played an integral role in managing the company’s strategic planning and regulatory relationships. Prior to Advanta, he was a partner at Arthur Andersen LLP where he practiced for 16 years as a certified public accountant and provided audit and business advisory services to companies in a broad range of industries, with a focus on financial services and retail companies.
Throughout his career, Mr. Browne has served on the boards and audit committees of a number of public and private companies as well as non-profit organizations. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors and as the Treasurer for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national non-profit organization dedicated to the education and support of individuals impacted by breast cancer. Mr. Browne is on the Board of Directors of the Village, a non-profit that primarily provides social, mental and behavioral services to children impacted by trauma, neglect and mental illness. He is also a member of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Corporate Council.
Mr. Browne received his BS cum laude, with special attainments in Commerce, from Washington and Lee University.
Mr. Browne lives with his wife and two sons near Philadelphia.
Mike Carter serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Strategy at FS Investments. He oversees firm strategy and business development, with a focus on growing FS Investments’ existing credit franchise and expanding into other alternative investment platforms.
Mr. Carter brings more than 25 years of experience building credit and hedge fund platforms to the firm. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Magnetar Capital, where he had direct managerial responsibility for all global operations, strategic planning and business development.
Prior to joining Magnetar, Mr. Carter spent 15 years at Lehman Brothers in various credit and investment banking roles, including leadership roles in the interest rate derivatives, securitization, structured credit and CDO businesses. He was co-head of Lehman’s Structured Credit Desk, co-head of its U.S. Structured Credit Sales group and a leader of the Hedge Fund Banking Group. He also helped launch the firm’s securitization business in London.
Mr. Carter received a BS in Business with a minor in Politics from Wake Forest University.
Mr. Carter is a Board Member of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation and a Member of Wake Forest’s Board of Visitors.
Steve DeAngelis is Executive Vice President and Head of Distribution at FS Investments. Mr. DeAngelis serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and as President of FS Investment Solutions, FS Investments’ wholly owned broker-dealer subsidiary.
Mr. DeAngelis brings over 25 years of experience in financial services, both as a sales leader and business builder. In his most recent role as Managing Director, Head of U.S. Advisor Solutions Group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, he led distribution of all products and services to registered investment advisors, regional and national wirehouses, and independent broker-dealers. He was also responsible for managing home office relationships, on both the distribution and platform research sides. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he co-founded and served as President of ADVISORport, Inc., the industry’s first web-based platform for delivering customized managed account services to broker-dealers, banks and third-party RIAs. He also held several senior positions at Delaware Capital Management after starting his career at Brinker Capital, Inc.
Mr. DeAngelis earned a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation.
Mr. DeAngelis is an adjunct professor and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Villanova School of Business. Civically he serves as an Advisory Board member for The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia, and is a member of his church’s Finance Council.
Mr. DeAngelis lives with his wife and three children in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Michael F. Gerber is Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs at FS Investments. Mr. Gerber serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and manages the communications and government affairs teams. Additionally, he oversees corporate social responsibility and serves as President of the FS Investments Foundation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gerber was a member of the Board of Directors for FS Investments’ third fund, FS Investment Corporation II, and practiced law at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, where he was a member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice group.
Mr. Gerber has a history of public service, having served eight years in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and six years as a trustee of Pennsylvania’s State Employees’ Retirement System (SERS), where he was a member of the Audit and Investment Committees. Earlier in his career, he served as legal counsel to Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell’s transition team and as a law clerk for Judge Ronald L. Buckwalter of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Most recently, Mr. Gerber advised both Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s and Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney’s transition teams.
Mr. Gerber serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, where he is also a member of the Executive Committee. Additionally, he is on the advisory board of the Children’s Scholarship Fund of Philadelphia and a Trustee for Camp Tecumseh, a sports camp for boys in Moultonboro, NH.
Mr. Gerber earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated cum laude from Villanova University School of Law, where he received a scholarship award for his involvement in community legal services.
Mr. Gerber lives with his wife and three children in the Philadelphia suburbs.
Mike Kelly serves as President and Chief Investment Officer of FS Investments. He oversees the firm’s investment management, product development, capital markets, due diligence, investment research and investor relations functions.
Mr. Kelly has extensive experience in investment management, product development and business development. Most recently, he was CEO of ORIX USA Asset Management, where he led the company’s acquisition of Robeco, a $250 billion global asset management company and the largest acquisition in ORIX’s 50-year history. He started his career on Wall Street at Salomon Brothers and went on to join hedge fund pioneers Omega Advisors and Tiger Management. He then helped build and lead the hedge fund firm FrontPoint Partners, where he first served as Chief Investment Officer and eventually Co-CEO.
Mr. Kelly is a graduate of Cornell University and earned his MBA at Stanford University.
Mr. Kelly is a co-founder and board member of the Spotlight Foundation, currently serves as a trustee of the Tiger Foundation, and has also served as a trustee of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Trust.
Mr. Kelly lives in Connecticut with his wife and two sons.
Zachary Klehr is the Executive Vice President of Fund Management at FS Investments leading portfolio management, fund operations, and client relations for the firm and its investment funds. Mr. Klehr is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and serves on the Investment Committees for FS Investment Corporation, FS Investment Corporation II, FS Investment Corporation III, FS Investment Corporation IV, FS Energy & Power Fund, FS Global Credit Opportunities Fund and FS Energy Total Return Fund.
Before joining FS Investments, Mr. Klehr was a Vice President at the private equity firm Versa Capital Management, where he sourced, underwrote, negotiated, structured and managed investments in middle market companies, special situations and distressed debt. Prior to Versa, he spent five years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. starting in the Investment Banking Division, then in the Executive Office working on firm-wide strategy covering hedge funds and other complex multifaceted clients of the firm. Later, he joined the Financial Sponsors Group where he worked on leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and equity and debt financings for Goldman Sachs’ private equity clients.
Mr. Klehr received his MBA with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his BA cum laude, also from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Klehr is active in his community and serves on numerous civic and charitable boards including the Board of Trustees of The Philadelphia School, the Philadelphia Mural Arts Advocates Board of Directors and the Board of Directors of the Zoological Society of Philadelphia.
Mr. Klehr lives with his wife and two sons in Philadelphia.

Ania Mikson serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at FS Investments. In this role, she is responsible for all HR practices and policies at the firm and leads the firm’s efforts in the areas of organizational development, talent management and total rewards.
Ms. Mikson brings over 20 years of experience in financial services HR. Before joining FS Investments, she led global HR for Macquarie Investment Management, parent company of Delaware Investments. Prior to that, she served as Head of Human Resources at Delaware Investments where she played a critical role in transitioning Delaware during its acquisition by Macquarie. Earlier in her career, she was Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Lincoln Financial Group and Director of Leadership Development at Cigna.
Ms. Mikson received a BA in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College, an MBA with a concentration in finance from Villanova University, and an MSOD from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Mikson is a member of the board of directors for Settlement Music School (MLC Branch), which provides instruction in music and the related arts to children and adults.
Jeff Rosenblum was an original investor in FS Investments. As Senior Advisor of Technology & Strategy at FS Investments, his focus is on strategy, marketing and operational excellence.
Having led several organizations through various stages of growth and restructuring, Mr. Rosenblum brings to the firm more than 20 years of management expertise as well as proven experience managing marketing and sales distribution platforms. Before joining FS Investments, he served as Executive Vice President, Business Development, of SHPS, Inc., a leading provider of integrated health solutions, where he formulated the business development strategy and built and managed relationships with business partners and market influencers. In this role, he also led Landacorp, an autonomous subsidiary within SHPS that provides medical management software to health plans and hospitals. He previously served as President and CEO of the eBenX mid-market business unit, which SHPS acquired in 2003. Before joining eBenX, he was President and CEO of Arbor Associates, a benefit administration company he founded in 1991 that was purchased by eBenX in 2000.
Mr. Rosenblum is a graduate of Northwestern University and holds a BS from the university’s School of Education.
Mr. Rosenblum currently serves on several boards and committees including the Board of Symmetry Peak Management, the Board of Overseers for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, The Ben Franklin Fintech Accelerator’s Advisory Committee and the Board of Advisors at Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy.
Gerald F. Stahlecker serves as Executive Vice President of FS Investments and its investment adviser affiliates. He also serves as President of FS Investment Corporation (NYSE: FSIC) and as Executive Vice President of FS Investments’ other sponsored investment funds. Mr. Stahlecker serves as a member of the investment committee of each of the firm’s funds. He oversees portfolio management and all finance, legal and compliance functions for each of the funds and their respective advisers.
Prior to joining FS Investments, Mr. Stahlecker was a founding partner, Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Chair of the investment committee of Radcliffe Capital Management, an investment advisory firm that manages hedge funds and separately managed accounts for institutional investors. Prior to that, he was an officer and director of Rose Glen Capital Management, a predecessor to Radcliffe that managed hedge funds focusing on directly negotiated, structured debt and equity investments in public companies. Before moving into investment management, he practiced corporate and securities law as an attorney at Klehr, Harrison, Harvey, Branzburg & Ellers LLP, representing hedge funds, private equity funds and other institutional investors pursuing structured equity and debt investments in public and private companies. Prior to law school, he worked as a senior analyst at Furash & Company, a consulting boutique in Washington, DC, where he advised banks and other financial institutions regarding mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, asset/liability management and strategic planning.
Mr. Stahlecker received his BS in Industrial Management and Rhetoric from Carnegie Mellon University and his JD from Villanova University Law School, where he was an editor of the Villanova University Environmental Law Journal.
Mr. Stahlecker is a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Investment Program Association and on the Board of Trustees of The Philadelphia School.
