Chris Condelles serves as the Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer at FS Investments, a leading alternative asset manager.
In this role, Mr. Condelles is responsible for defining the firm’s strategic direction and leading its corporate development and M&A activities to advance FS Investments’ growth initiatives, strengthen its competitive position and drive transformative change. He also oversees the firm’s Capital Markets group, Bridge Street CLO platform, and Business Unit Management team.
Before joining FS Investments, Mr. Condelles worked at Credit Suisse as the Head of U.S. Credit and Financing Solutions, where he managed an $8+ billion investment portfolio encompassing Structured Credit Investing and Credit Asset Financing businesses across the Americas. He built the firm’s private credit and lender finance platforms, was a member of the Executive Committee and served as Global Treasurer for Credit Suisse’s Global Credit Products division, ranked among the top such divisions globally. Earlier in his career, he held senior trading roles in several of Credit Suisse’s esoteric credit businesses.
An active community member, he serves on the board of the National Alliance on Mental Illness in NYC, where he chairs the Finance Committee and serves as Treasurer. He is also an advisor to Innovate Capital Growth Fund, an SBIC fund.
Mr. Condelles holds a BS in Financial Economics from Binghamton University, an MBA with dual degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School and is a CFA charterholder.
