Kevin Silva serves as Global Head of Institutional Business Development at FS Investments. In this role, he builds and manages institutional client relationships around the globe and explores new channels for institutional client development.
Prior to joining FS Investments, Mr. Silva served as head of the Strategic Partners Group at MSD Partners, where he was Partner and led capital raising and client service efforts across the firm’s private equity, private credit, real estate and growth investment platform. Mr. Silva began his career in the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs and spent 12 years at Och-Ziff Capital Management, now called Sculptor Capital Management, in a variety of senior investor relations and client service roles, ultimately serving as Head of Strategic Relationships for the firm. He later served as Global Head of Business Development and Investor Relations at Carlson Capital and Bardin Hill Investment Partners.
Mr. Silva is Chairman of the School Committee of Saint Saviour’s Nursery School in Greenwich, Connecticut and is a member of the Annual Fund Committee of Greenwich Country Day School. Mr. Silva grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania and lives in Connecticut with his wife and two sons.
Mr. Silva earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Harvard College.
